“CPU” Versus “Computer”

Fun fact: the terms “CPU” and “computer” are not interchangeable. Though many people use the term “CPU” as an abbreviation for “computer”, this is incorrect usage of the term. CPU is an acronym that stands for Central Processing Unit, or processor for short. A processor, though a very important component, is only one component of a computer. A CPU is a part of a computer, not a computer itself.
